The Pittsburgh Steelers and Antonio Brown have reportedly agreed to terms on a new contract that makes him the highest-paid receiver in the NFL.

This news comes as no surprise, as it was reported earlier Monday that a deal was already well on its way to being concluded before the new league year.
“Antonio is a good guy, a good person,” said Steelers’ President Art Rooney II after the season. “I enjoy our personal relationship. His teammates like to have him on the team. He is a hard worker.
“AB is a big contributor to our success, has been for several years now, and I think he’s capable of continuing to be that kind of player. I think he’s someone who wants to be a great player and works hard to be that. Hopefully, he’ll continue to evolve as a player and as a person.”
Brown has been one of the NFL’s top receivers since 2013. He’s caught over 106 passes in each of the four seasons since, totaling 6,315 yards and 43 touchdowns during that stretch. He has also been remarkably resilient, starting all but three games the past four years.
Pittsburgh also locked up running back Le’Veon Bell Monday with the franchise tag (exclusive) that pays him $12 million in 2017.
