Report: Los Angeles Kings Jarret Stoll, Boyfriend of Erin Andrews, Arrested on Drug Possession

Los Angeles Kings’ center Jarret Stoll, who is also the boyfriend of Fox Sports reporter Erin Andrews was arrested on Friday in Las Vegas on charges of drug possession. Stoll allegedly brought cocaine and ecstasy to the Wet Republic pool party at the MGM Grand. Taken into custody by the Las Vegas Metro Police Department, it was not known if Andrews was with Stoll at the time.

Following his arrest, Stoll was taken to and booked at the Clark County Detention Center where he was eventually released on a $5,000 bail bond.

Stoll has been with the Kings since 2008 and he was a key player in both Stanley Cup runs in 2012 and 2014. After missing the playoffs, the Kings season ended last Saturday.

Apparently, Stoll went a big overboard in an attempt to relax after the team’s season concluded.

The team has since released this statement:

We are aware of police reports out of Clark County, Nevada regarding Jarret Stoll. Our organization is concerned and has begun conducting a thorough internal investigation. While we continue to actively gather facts, we are withholding further comment at this time.

News of Stoll’s arrest is a bit shocking considering the only other time he has been mentioned in the news, non-NHL related was when he reportedly suffered a seizure at his southern California home in the summer of 2013.

It will be definitely interesting to see how this plays out and in particular how it impacts his long-time girlfriend Erin Andrews.
