Report: Kings acquiring Domantas Sabonis from Pacers

The Sacramento Kings are acquiring forward Domantas Sabonis in a six-player deal with the Indiana Pacers, ESPN reported Tuesday.

The Kings are also acquiring forward Justin Holiday and guard Jeremy Lamb as well as a second-round pick in the 2027 NBA Draft from the Pacers. In return, the Pacers will secure the services of guards Tyrese Haliburton and Buddy Hield as well as center Tristan Thompson.

Indiana has been busy ahead of Thursday’s trade deadline. The Pacers sent guard Caris LeVert and a 2022 second-round pick to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for injured point guard Ricky Rubio and three draft picks.

A two-time All-Star, Sabonis boasts team-leading averages in points (18.9) and rebounds (12.1) in 47 games (46 starts) this season with the Pacers.

Holiday, 32, is averaging 11.0 points, 2.8 boards and 1.8 assists in 49 games (40 starts) in 2021-22.

Lamb, 29, has chipped in 7.1 points and 2.4 rebounds in 39 games off the bench.

Haliburton, 21, has scored 14.3 points per game for the Kings. He also boasts team-leading totals in assists (7.4) and steals (1.7) in 51 starts this season.

Hield, 29, is averaging 14.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 55 games (six starts) in 2021-22.

Thompson, 30, has chipped in 6.2 points and 5.4 rebounds in 30 games (three starts).
