Report: Jets will work out former Ravens WR Breshad Perriman

As expected, the Baltimore Ravens cut ties with Breshad Perriman. But the New York Jets are interested in the former first-round pick and will bring him in for a workout.

The Jets have certainly had issues at receiver over the years. Robby Anderson, Jermaine Kearse, and Terrelle Pryor are slated to be the team’s top-three receivers. But with Kearse likely out for Week 1, the receiving depth will be tested.

Given how disappointing Perriman’s career in Baltimore was, he’ll definitely need to impress in his workout for the Jets.

Injuries prohibited him from playing at all in 2015. He was serviceable in 2016, catching 33 passes for 499 yards and three touchdowns. But in 2017, he caught only 10 passes for 77 yards with no touchdowns.
