It might not be on the same level as the blockbuster deal earlier on Monday, but the Atlanta Falcons are getting down to business.
Hours after it was reported that Atlanta is losing Pro Bowl tight end Austin Hooper to the Cleveland Browns, it has found a replacement.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Falcons have acquired tight end Hayden Hurst from the Baltimore Ravens. Said deal includes Atlanta receiving a fourth-round pick in 2020 while sending Baltimore a second-round and fifth-round pick.
A first-round pick back in 2018, Hurst fell behind Mark Andrews on the Ravens’ depth chart. He recorded 30 receptions for 349 yards as a sophomore last season.
