The Colorado football program is desperate to find a head coach after many of its top targets turned down the job. Now, per Rivals.com, the school is reportedly looking to reach out to Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Greg Roman.
Roman, of course, is a hot name right now after helping Lamar Jackson win NFL MVP during a magnificent 2019 campaign.
According to The Athletic, the school may also reach out to Oklahoma defensive coordinator Alex Grinch, along with USC offensive coordinator Graham Harrell.
Landing any of these three would be a major score for Colorado. But given the fact that so many other coaches have opted to stay where they are in favor of trying to jump start the Buffaloes, it’s hard to imagine that the university has a realistic shot.
The latest high-profile figure to turn down the job is none other than Alabama offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian.
