Pittsburgh Steelers sign running back Kalen Ballage to 1-year deal

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed running back Kalen Ballage and offensive lineman Rashaad Coward to one-year deals on Tuesday.

Ballage, 25, split last season with the New York Jets and Los Angeles Chargers after playing his first two seasons with the Miami Dolphins.

The 2018 fourth-round pick has rushed 201 times for 629 yards and seven touchdowns and added 52 receptions for 285 yards in 35 career games (eight starts).

Coward, 26, appeared in 30 games (15 starts) with the Chicago Bears since signing as an undrafted free agent in 2017. He started 11 games at right guard, three at left guard and one at right tackle.
