The PGA Tour’s Arnold Palmer Invitational in Bay Hill, Fla., will cap fan attendance at 25 percent this March, tournament officials announced Thursday.
“Although the 2021 event will look different due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are committed to providing a world-class experience in a safe environment for all involved,” tournament director Joie Chitwood said.
The annual event at Bay Hill Club and Lodge takes place from March 4-7. Tiger Woods has won the tournament a record eight times, and England’s Tyrrell Hatton is the defending champion.
Only single-day tickets will be sold and no fans will be allowed for practice rounds. All spectators will be required to wear masks at all times and will likely be subject to a temperature screening and health questionnaire upon entry.
