
With how tight the Eastern Conference is, the New Jersey Devils better figure it out quick. The New York Islanders have rattled off five wins in a row now. And although there’s still a bit of a cushion between the division rivals, you could imagine a scenario where someone catches up to New Jersey.
That’s likely why the Devils’ head coach was so dejected two nights ago. He expects more from his group, and they were just embarrassed by John Tortorella’s team. Therefore, he ripped their effort.
