USA Hockey introduced 44 players on Tuesday morning who will attend their 2026 Olympic Orientation ahead of the Winter Games in Milan, Italy. Three Devils are among the 44 players.

Joining the Devils Hughes duo is brother, and Vancouver Canucks captain, Quinn Hughes. The remaining 40 players include:

Forwards:

Matthew Boldy, Cole Caufield, Kyle Connor, Logan Cooley, Jack Eichel, Conor Garland, Jake Guentzel, Patrick Kane, Clayton Keller, Matthew Knies, Chris Kreider, Dylan Larkin, Auston Matthews, J.T. Miller, Frank Nazar, Brock Nelson, Shane Pinto, Jason Robertson, Bryan Rust, Tage Thompson, Brady Tkachuk, Vincent Trocheck, and Alex Tuch.

Defensemen:

Brock Faber, Adam Fox, Noah Hanifin, Seth Jones, Jackson LaCombe, Charlie McAvoy, Ryan McDonagh, Neil Pionk, Jake Sanderson, Brady Skjei, Jaccob Slavin, Alex Vlasic, and Zack Werenski.

Goaltenders:

Joey Daccord, Connor Hellebuyck, Jake Oettinger, and Jeremy Swayman.

Jack Hughes was on last winter’s 4 Nations Face-Off roster, tallying just one assist in four games during the tournament. Hughes spent the majority of his time in the world tournament on a line with Auston Matthews and Jake Guentzel.

Brett Pesce was added to Team USA’s roster at the 4 Nations Face-Off for the championship game against Team Canada as a result of injury to Charlie McAvoy. Tage Thompson was also a late addition as well.

Team USA brought home the Silver after Connor McDavid scored the golden goal in overtime, propelling Canada to a 3-2 victory.

Despite defeating Canada 3-1 earlier in the tournament, the defeat could lead to changes at the Olympics.

EXCLUSIVE: Why Team USA Told Devils Luke Hughes Not Yet (+)

Luke Hughes was left off USA’s roster at the 4 Nations, however, GM Bill Guerin admitted he was on their radar for future world events.

Now invited to the orientation, the youngest Hughes brother has the opportunity to play with his older siblings for gold at the 2026 Olympics.
