The Dougie Hamilton trade talk just won’t die down. The New Jersey Devils’ No.1 defenseman is on the latest NHL trade big board in the links below with more context. Word is the Devils aren’t actively shopping the defenseman. However, they’re not hanging up the phone when teams call to inquire. It will be interesting to see how this ends up. Hamilton has a 10-team trade clause, so GM Tom Fitzgerald is a bit limited. However, it wouldn’t be a surprise if 31 teams are ringing New Jersey to find out what the situation is there.

After all, there is a massive Luke Hughes extension potentially on the horizon.

We’ll see what shakes out.

Elsewhere, Nazem Kadri is back in the NHL trade rumors, EBUGs could be extinct, and some high praise for Gavin McKenna.

Let’s do that hockey.
