The New Jersey Devils, now 11-4-1 after an overtime setback to the New York Islanders on Monday, seek to regroup on the road against the Chicago Blackhawks, who sit at 8-5-3 with a 3-2-1 home ledger.

To start the five-game road trip, New Jersey won’t have Connor Brown or Dougie Hamilton at the start. The Devils have left the door open for either one or both to travel with the team for the last three games, as they’ll stop home for practice between games two and three.

The Blackhawks appear injured as well, and may even have to go 11 forwards, seven defensemen.
