The New Jersey Devils are officially off today, but certainly, everyone will be glued to their phones. We’re 33 hours away from the NHL trade deadline, and there are certainly some who are anxiously waiting for the deadline to pass to know their fate.
In New Jersey, their former second-overall selection in 2022 is one of those people. His name is in the rumor mill again, and it could net a big return.

Deadlines spur action. As stated earlier, we’re officially 33 hours from the NHL Trade Deadline, and a couple of major deals transpired yesterday, with a sprinkle of a few minor deals.
Here are the trades that went down on Wednesday:
Colton Parayko may very well be a Buffalo Sabre. We’re just waiting to hear if he will waive his trade protection to go play in Northern New York.
