The New Jersey Devils are well-represented at the 2026 Winter Olympics, with seven members of the organization playing in the games. As the ice hockey Olympic camps are underway, we’re learning more about where New Jersey’s finest are slotting in with their countries. We learned Jack Hughes‘ role with Team USA. But, what are the remaining six players’ deployments?

There are three Devils players skating for Team Switzerland, the most of any one country occupying New Jersey players.

Nico Hischier, Timo Meier, and Jonas Siegenthaler all man Switzerland’s roster, and are playing in significant roles for their country.

Hischier is centering the top line alongside alonside Devils teammate Meier—who is playing right wing again. Los Angeles Kings forward Kevin Fiala rounds out the line on the left wing.

Jonas Siegenthaler is paired with Nashville Predators captain Roman Josi, which makes up Switzerland’s top defensive pair.

For Team Sweden, Jesper Bratt is skating in their top-six on the left-wing alongside Boston Bruins center Elias Linholm and Detroit Red Wings right wing Lucas Raymond. Bratt netted a goal and an assist in last years 4 Nations Face-Off tournament. Raymond tied Erik Karlsson for Sweden’s team-lead in points (three) with three assists.

Bratt is taking rotations with Predators forward Filip Forsberg.

Jacob Markstrom is working in rotation with Minnesota Wild goaltenders, Jesper Wallstedt and Filip Gustavsson. Sweden’s starting goaltender is undetermined at this time, but it’s anticipated that Markstrom will serve third string duties behind the Wild netminders.

And on Team Slovakia, Simon Nemec is manning top-pair duties alongside Washington Capitals defenseman, Martin Fehervary. Nemec is playing with ex-Devils teammate Tomas Tatar—who is playing first line left-wing—on Slovakia.

Switzerland’s first puck drop is on Thursday, February 12th against Team France in the preliminary round.

Sweden and Slovakia play on Wednesday, one day before Switzerland, against Italy and and Finland respectively.
