The Seattle Seahawks are Super Bowl Champions. As a fan of the New York Jets, I’m thrilled for Sam Darnold. Now that football is officially over, the focus can shift to the ice. What better time for the 2026 Winter Olympics to get underway. The New Jersey Devils won’t compete for a championship this season, but they’re hoping at least one of them can return with gold.

Over in Milan, Jack Hughes’ role with Team USA was revealed. More on that below, but my goodness did that draw a reaction. You don’t have to like it, and of course things could change. But as of yesterday, it was true. Let’s see what day two brings.

New Jersey Hockey Now: When Team USA took the ice for their first practice on Sunday, the top-six from the 4 Nations Face-Off was intact. Well… mostly. Of the six players who were together in last years tournament, only one was demoted. It was Jack Hughes.
