
Good morning. No that wasn’t a dream. That really happened. What a win for Team USA, Jack Hughes, and the New Jersey Devils.
Jack propelling USA past Canada is, of course, historic for hockey in the United States. However, the Devils needed this, too. A disappointing 2025-26 now has a silver lining. Their superstar made history, claiming gold at the Olympics on this side of the border for the first time since 1980.
It was an incredible moment for a player who perhaps needed it the most.
