New Jersey Devils captain Nico Hischier broke out on the scoresheet yesterday. His goal and two assists propelled Switzerland past Italy in a 3-0 shutout, solidifying their quarterfinal matchup with Finland.

Hischier’s now up to four points in the tournament, but Switzerland goes into Wednesday’s matchup as the underdog.

Jacob Markstrom, however, pitched a strong 20-save performance. He even explained he’s comfortable starting in a back-to-back today against Finland.
