The NHL announced Wednesday that it is postponing the 2020 NHL Combine, the 2020 Bridgestone NHL Awards, and the 2020 NHL Draft due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The combine was set to take place between June 1-6 in Buffalo, NY. The awards ceremony was scheduled for June 18 in Las Vegas. The 2020 NHL Draft was slated to start on June 26 in Montreal. At this time, there is no new date for any of the three major events “due to the ongoing uncertainty resulting from the coronavirus.”
The league added that, “With respect to the Bridgestone NHL Awards, the League looks forward to returning to Las Vegas in the future.”
The NHL season was suspended earlier this month as well, and there is no return date as of this moment.
