The Washington Commanders can’t imagine a season going any worse than it did last year. Losing your franchise quarterback due to injury for 10 games is sure to derail any team’s season, so it’s no surprise to see the Commanders go from a team that won 12 games in 2024 to one that won just five in 2025.
Commanders general manager Adam Peters has been working all offseason tirelessly, putting together a roster that head coach Dan Quinn can win with. Yet, there could be two more impact additions who are now hoping to take their talents to D.C.

Recently, All-Pro brothers Stefon Diggs and Trevon Diggs answered a question about “how long it would take to get them wearing Commanders jerseys”. Their response, via TikTok’s Mykellsade, reveals Stefon saying, “That’s what everybody is talking about right now. We gonna talk about it real soon though”.

The Commanders have needs at the receiver and cornerback positions, so landing both could provide significant upgrades to both sides of the ball. Stefon is coming off another strong effort, the seventh 1,000-yard season of his career.
Meanwhile, cornerback Trevon is coming off a down year and likely would sign for a drastically reduced rate compared to Stefon. Trevon played in just nine games last season, eight in Dallas and one in Green Bay, before his release.
He’s played in just 22 games since the end of the 2022 season, meaning Trevon has a lot to prove. Yet, joining his brother in D.C. could be just the type of change of atmosphere the Maryland native needs to thrive again.
Together, the Diggs brothers could be the type of impact players on both sides of the ball, helping the Commanders return to the playoffs after a down year again.
