Four-time All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce is set to play in his fifth Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs. He’s won three Super Bowl rings in that time, but tonight he’ll get a chance to be a part of history as the first team in NFL history to win three Lombardi Trophies in a row.
However, Kelce is 35 years old. Next year, he’d be 36. Yet, there’s no guarantee the 12-year-pro is set to play a 13th season with the Chiefs next year.

Travis Kelce undecided on playing for Kansas City Chiefs in 2025

Is Travis Kelce retiring? The 10-time Pro Bowl tight end has spent his entire career with the Kansas City Chiefs. However, he does have a contract for next year, though it is the final season on his deal.
Yet, some are questioning whether Kelce will play out the rest of his contract with the Chiefs. Some, are wondering whether Kelce is set to play in his final game later tonight.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Kelce is still undecided on his playing future and whether he’ll return for a 13th NFL season in 2025.
“It is, in fact, possible that Super Bowl LIX on Sunday is the final game of Kelce’s 12-year professional career. Kelce, who is in the conversation for greatest tight end to ever play in the NFL, is expected to take time after the Super Bowl, consider his future and make a decision before free agency, which officially begins March 12. Sources informed of his thinking say Kelce’s decision could hinge on the results of Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.”
