Like every other NFL team, the Philadelphia Eagles are making changes to their coaching staff this offseason. Unlike the 10 teams that will have a new head coach in 2026, the Eagles are retaining Nick Sirianni, which makes sense since they just won the Super Bowl in 2024.

The Eagles are making changes to their offense though. Offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo has been demoted to a yet-to-be-determined role on the staff. Meanwhile, the Eagles have yet to hire his replacement.

The Eagles could have a big trick up their sleeves, and it could be related to their offensive coordinator hire. Yet, on Wednesday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter’s appearance on 97.5 Fanatic hinted at a separate big move in Philadelphia.

The radio hosts were discussing the Eagles’ eventual offensive coordinator hire that is likely coming soon. But Schefter seemingly changed the subject by saying, “Maybe it’ll be even more than that by next week.”

Like what? The most obvious move may point to a potential A.J. Brown trade. Eagles general manager Howie Roseman didn’t deny the Brown trade rumors after the season ended, and the three-time Pro Bowl receiver would surely be in high demand.

Even if a trade gets agreed to, nothing could be finalized until March 11, when the start of the 2026 league year gets underway.
