The Green Bay Packers haven’t been afraid to make splashy moves under general manager Brian Gutekunst. Before the 2025 NFL season could even kick off, the Packers GM swung a blockbuster trade that no one saw coming for Micah Parsons.

Adding Parsons immediately gave the Packers championship expectations, but a series of injuries to players like the superstar pass-rusher, plus Tucker Kraft, played a key role in their playoff elimination in the Wild Card round. Could the Packers target another big trade this offseason, this time focused on getting Jordan Love more help?

Packers rumors connecting them to a star receiver acquisition will only grow after Love’s appearance on the Up and Adams Show with Kay Adams on Thursday. In doing so, Love revealed that he shares the same agent with pending free agent receiver George Pickens, and they even play basketball together.

Could Love use that relationship to help lure Pickens to Green Bay this offseason? The Dallas Cowboys have gone on record indicating that they’ll do everything they can to retain Pickens, who ranked third in the NFL with 1,429 receiving yards this season.

Plus, the 24-year-old immediately became a star after Dallas sent a 2026 third-round pick, plus a 2027 fifth-round pick, to Pittsburgh in exchange for Pickens plus a sixth-round selection in 2027. Knowing he’ll still have a big role and is a strong fit in Dallas could be enough to help Pickens sign on the dotted line when the Cowboys get to the negotiation table.
