It was reported late Monday afternoon that the Denver Broncos and head coach John Fox have agreed to part ways. Now comes this bit of shocking news from Vic Lombardi of the local CBS affiliate in Denver.
NEW INFO: Entire Broncos coaching staff let go. Not just John Fox. All assistants gone according to several players.

Yes, that includes offensive coordinator Adam Gase and defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio.
The ENTIRE coaching staff.
Is this John Elway’s way of telling his team that the Broncos are preparing to blow it up? For such a successful franchise over the past four seasons, this has to be shocking to those outside of the organization itself.
There will be more information in the coming days as it relates to what prompted this move, but it’s likely that Denver’s inability to win the Super Bowl didn’t sit well with the team’s brass.
Update: Denver technically still holds the contract rights to Fox’s assistant coaches, but told them they are free to seek other employment. We can do the math here.
