The Las Vegas Raiders are one of just three teams that have not hired a head coach for the 2026 NFL season. Their options are dwindling by the day, with the Buffalo Bills announcing that they’ve settled on Joe Brady as their next head coach, one more candidate is off the table.

Another candidate, former New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll, just accepted a job as the Tennessee Titans‘ offensive coordinator. While Daboll’s contract with the Titans appears to be contingent upon him possibly still landing the Raiders’ head coaching job, Las Vegas may be headed in another direction

Of the candidates who haven’t either already been hired elsewhere or removed their name from consideration, who’s left for the Raiders? From what we can tell, there are just two.

The Raiders may be selecting from a pair of coaches who just participated in the NFL’s Conference Championship playoffs. They are Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak and Denver Broncos pass-game coordinator/QB coach Davis Webb.

Only one of the candidates has interviewed with the Raiders twice, which is usually the second-to-last step before a head coaching announcement is made. The Raiders completed their second interview with Webb on Monday. Kubiak has just interviewed with the Raiders once.

Though, with the Seahawks having a week off before they take on the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX, it’s possible Kubiak has another interview coming soon. With a total of 15 candidates interviewed, Webb and Kubiak appear to be the last two standing, which likely means one will end up as the next head coach of the Raiders.

Neither has any previous head coaching experience, and only Kubiak has called plays for the NFL’s third-ranked scoring offense, nonetheless. That could help make him a frontrunner, but the Raiders likely want to get him in for a second interview first.
