It appears Larry Fitzgerald Sr. would have liked to have seen his son Larry Fitzgerald catch more passes in last night’s Arizona Cardinals victory over the San Diego Chargers, 18-17.

Even though Fitzgerald only had one catch for 22 yards, it was nearly a touchdown, and caught one-handed. I was totally impressed.

While it was a bit disappointing to see Palmer target Fitzgerald only four times, we must take into account that Michael Floyd is emerging as a quite capable wide receiver. He also has Andre Ellington to hand the ball off too. Perhaps Mr. Fitzgerald should be reminded that his son is part of a team, not a one-man show.

I have a sneaky suspicion that Fitzgerald Sr. started Fitzgerald Jr. on his fantasy team. Don’t you?
