The Baltimore Ravens have made attempts to bring in some fairly high-profile receivers to catch passes from two-time NFL MVP Lamar Jackson. Yet, a strong case could be made that Odell Beckham Jr. and De’Andre Hopkins were well past their prime by the time they got to Baltimore.
Now, the Ravens could be closing in on a trade for a three-time Pro Bowl receiver who’s been a major part of his team’s overall success, which included a Super Bowl win in 2024.
According to Jeff McClane of The Philadelphia Inquirer, the Ravens have emerged as a “likely” trade suitor for A.J. Brown from the Philadelphia Eagles. But the Ravens are not alone. McClane suggests the New England Patriots, who are led by Mike Vrabel, Brown’s former head coach in Tennessee, are another “likely” suitor.
“The Bills trading for WR D.J. Moore would theoretically take them out of the A.J. Brown market. They checked in with the Eagles about their wide receiver, from what I understand. Patriots and Ravens are the most likely potential partners, especially as I understand it, the Eagles inclined to only deal with AFC teams.”

Brown has recorded a 1,000-yard season in six of seven seasons since arriving as the 51st overall pick in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He got traded from Tenneseee to Philadelphia after three seasons when the Titans weren’t willing to commit to the type of long-term contract Brown wanted.
Brown was traded for a first and a third-round pick when he was 24. Now 28, yet still established, we’ll see what the trade cost is this time around. That’s if he’s even dealt, but teams are surely trying.
