The 2026 NFL Draft was already setting up to be an exciting draft for the New York Giants, where they entered the event with the No. 5 overall pick in the first round. It’s general manager Joe Schoen’s first chance to mold the roster around new head coach John Harbaugh.
Yet, after the Giants wound up trading three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence to the Bengals in exchange for the 10th overall pick? All eyes on the Giants’ fanbase are tuned into Thursday night, where New York now has two first-round picks.
Now that the team has two first and eight selections overall, it’s time for an updated projection of the 2026 New York Giants mock draft, from No. 5 to 193.

First Round, No. 5 Overall – Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State
A freak talent that just isn’t found in any other place besides Madden video games, Styles is too enticing for Harbaugh to pass up on. A 6-foot-5 athlete capable of clocking a 4.46-second 40 time, Styles and Tremaine Edmunds will give the Giants a pair of monstrous linebackers at MetLife.

First Round, No. 10 Overall – Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State
Chances are, a surprise prospect such as Caleb Downs could be available here, if so, the Giants could double down on impact defenders from Ohio State. Yet, with Malik Nabers coming off a season-ending knee injury, it’s possible the Giants want to provide their young franchise QB with another high-upside receiver. Tyson has WR1 potential, and if he reaches it, we could see shades of the Bengals’ duo of Chase and Higgins. That’s worth a gamble.

Second Round, No. 37 Overall – Emmanuel Pregnon, OG, Oregon
Solidifying the offensive line will surely continue to be a priority for a Giants team that has been far too inconsistent. Protecting Jaxson Dart is a must, and while Pregnon is experienced at left guard, his power will fit in perfectly at right guard too. Plus, the 6-foot-4 315-pounder is extremely strong, he’ll move a lot of people out of the way for Dart and Skattebo.

Fourth Round, No. 105 Overall – Dontay Corleone, DI, Cincinnati
The cold, hard truth is that Dexter Lawrence is gone. The Giants had a DL need before they dealt away their “middle stone,” now that weakness is far greater. Addressing the position in the second round is a possibility, but the Giants simply won’t find anyone like Lawrence. Corleone won’t replace Lawrence’s abilities as a pass-rusher, but he’s a stout nose tackle who will be impactful against the run early on.
Fifth Round, No. 145 Overall – Charles Demmings, CB, Stephen F. Austin

Sixth Round, No. 186 Overall – Jalen Stroman, S, Notre Dame
