The Philadelphia Eagles enter Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals with an 0-2 record and on the verge of becoming irrelevant in the NFC Playoff race.
Philadelphia opened its season with a shocking loss to the Washington Football Team before being blown out by the Los Angeles Rams last week. It has head coach Doug Pederson’s future in Philadelphia in question.
It could also lead to some wholesale changes on the Eagles’ roster ahead of the Nov. 3 NFL trade deadline.
NFL rumors: Could Eagles be sellers at trade deadline?
According to Jimmy Kempski of the Philly Voice, there’s a chance the Eagles look to move on from three veterans in that of wide receiver Alshon Jeffery, tight end Zach Ertz and defensive lineman Fletcher Cox.

The Eagles’ insider was looking more at the long-term ramifications for Philadelphia than anything else.
And while an 0-2 start to the season shouldn’t lead to reckless speculation, there’s something to be said about Philadelphia looking to trade all three.
Alshon Jeffery trade rumors have existed for a while
It was noted ahead of Week 1 that Philadelphia was looking to trade this former Pro Bowl wide receiver. Jeffery, 30, has missed each of the past two games with a Lisfranc injury he suffered during the offseason.
Set to count $18.49 million against the cap in 2021, it is highly unlikely that any team would show interest in trading for Jeffery. In fact, the Eagles would likely have to include draft pick compensation if they were to find a suitor for Jeffery.

Zach Ertz contract issues
This is no small thing. After seeing George Kittle and Travis Kelce receive huge extensions ahead of Week 1, Ertz is apparently looking to rework his deal.
A three-time Pro Bowler since being selected in the second-round of the 2013 NFL Draft, Ertz is coming off a two-year span that saw him average north of 100 receptions for 1,000-plus yards each season. He’s playing under a mere five-year, $42.5 million contract.
Fletcher Cox could be of interest for contenders
Despite playing under a six-year, $102.6 million contract, the 29-year-old Cox could very well help a contending team in need of more interior pass-rush help.
A five-time Pro Bowler during his tenure with Philadelphia, Cox has recorded 48 sacks in nine seasons.
