While serving as a coach at this year’s Pro Bowl, New York Giants great Eli Manning spit some hilarious bars that had current players going wild and took some shots at New England Patriots icon Tom Brady.

Since bringing his memorable career to an end in 2019, Eli Manning has become as popular as ever. During his time with the Giants, he was viewed as a quiet and humble leader who shied away from the bright lights of New York City. However, without the weight of being the face of a football team in Gothan, the funny personality of Peyton Manning’s younger brother has flourished.

  • Eli Manning stats (Career): 57,023 passing yards, 366 TD, 244 INT, 84.1 passer rating

Alongside his brother, he has the most popular simulcast in sports with ESPN’s “Manningcast” and the duo shines in various commercials and in gigs like they had over the weekend when they were the coaches for the Pro Bowl flag football game teams. However, before the matchup on Sunday, Manning was caught on camera dropping a hilarious freestyle about a two-time Super Bowl opponent.

The 43-year-old went viral this week when video caught an impromptu moment during Pro Bowl practice when the four-time Pro Bowler was asked to do a little hip-hop freestyling. And it was as awkward and hilarious as you would expect.

In the very short freestyle, Manning reminded NFL and Giants fans about being the only man to score victories over Tom Brady in the Super Bowl not once, but twice.

“Alright, you ready? I’m Eli Manning. I’m nice. Tom Brady’s the GOAT? Sike, I beat him twice!” Manning said, before asking the players nearby to “hold me back.” The video of the moment can be found above.

While it may rub some Patriots fans the wrong way, it is a classic moment of the unexpected humor the Giants legend has become known for during his post-NFL career in the media world.
