New England Patriots cornerback Jack Jones was arrested Friday after attempting to bring a pair of guns onto an airplane at Boston’s Logan International Airport.
Several outlets reported late on Friday night that Jack Jones was taken into custody after a TSA agent discovered during a security check that he had two guns in his carry-on luggage. Following the reports, Boston Herald New England Patriots reporter Andrew Callahan revealed that the two weapons were actually loaded, according to Massachusetts State Police.

The 25-year-old who was drafted by the New England Patriots in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft is facing a litany of serious charges following his arrest at 5:20 PM ET earlier today. Including possession of a concealed weapon in a secure area of an airport, possession of ammunition without a firearm identification card, unlawful possession of a firearm, and carrying a loaded firearm.

After being booked at the State Police-Logan Airport Barracks, Jones reported posted $50,000 bail and is set to be arraigned next week in an East Boston District Court.
“We have been notified that Jack Jones was arrested at Logan Airport earlier today. We are in the process of gathering more information and will not be commenting further at this time,” the New England Patriots said in a statement.
Jones’ arrest stands out all the more after he allegedly took jabs on social at NBA star Ja Morant for his recent missteps involving his interest in owning firearms.
