Not only are the Sacramento Kings beating the Golden State Warriors on the court so far in the NBA playoffs, but Sacramento Kings tickets during this postseason are also putting their opponents to shame as well.

The Sacramento Kings have been, arguably, the best story in the NBA this season. After finishing 22 games under .500 and in last place in the Pacific Division last year, they had a complete 180 this season.

Led by new head coach Mike Brown, the Kings took massive steps forward in 2022-2023 as young stars De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis showed they were legitimate stars in the league. This season the team won the Pacific and had the third-best record in the entire Western Conference. The impressive play earned Fox Clutch Player of the Year honors and Brown the NBA Coach of the Year award.

However, more than anything they finally ended a streak of 17 years of missing the playoffs. It was the longest stretch of mediocrity in the NBA and one of the longest in all sports. Unsurprisingly, the organization’s playoff-starved fanbase has been ravenous to get their hands on Sacramento Kings tickets for the 2023 postseason. Especially, since the team is facing the defending champion Warriors in the opening round.

Sacramento Kings tickets (regular season courtside): $900+

With the demand for Sacramento Kings tickets at the Golden 1 Center the highest in the league, it has driven prices on the secondary market to new heights for the team. On the popular ticket site StubHub, average ticket prices (via Front Office Sports) for Game 1 went as high as $575, and for Game 2 reached an average of $450 for the two sellouts.

What makes it all the more impressive, are that the prices are higher than tickets for Game 3 and 4 at the Chase Center in San Francisco. Average prices for Game 3 tonight were at $371, while Game 4 on Sunday was at $400. It’s possible Game 4 is doing better than the previous due to an influx of Kings fans hoping for a sweep of the defending champion.

There were also over 2,000 tickets still available for the two games as of earlier today.

Game 3 of Sacramento Kings vs. Golden State Warriors goes down tonight on TNT at 10 PM ET, as the champions look to avoid falling into a 3-0 hole in their best-of-seven series.
