LeBron James pays tribute to Kobe Bryant

With Kobe Bryant getting set to take the court for his final NBA game, the tributes are coming in. The most recent has come from another future Hall of Famer, LeBron James.

Just days before the intense NBA playoffs get underway, it’s certainly nice to see a player of LeBron’s caliber taking a step back to pay tribute to a man who’s been a peer and semi-rival of his for more than a decade now.

Kobe and LeBron certainly have a lot in common. They’ve been two of the game’s best players and sometimes most polarizing stars at various times throughout their careers.

Also, as the picture shows, they were teammates during Team USA’s successful Gold Medal bids at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics.
