
Bryce Harper took a pitch off his leg during Wednesday night’s game against the Atlanta Braves, and on Thursday his leg was “pretty swollen,” according to manager Dave Martinez.
Thankfully, however, X-rays came back negative, and Harper could be available in a pinch as early as Thursday night.

Harper has been scratched from the team’s starting lineup for Thursday’s game against Atlanta. The young star outfielder is hitting .234 with 28 home runs and 71 RBI through 112 games this season.
