With what the Miami Dolphins had to work with heading into the NFL offseason, general manager Chris Grier has pulled a rabbit out of his hat.
Fresh off a disappointing exit in the playoffs, Miami entered March well over the 2024 NFL salary cap. The team has still been able to fill holes on both sides of the ball.
That includes adding starting linebacker Jordyn Brooks, starting cornerback Kendeall Fuller and starting safety Jordan Poyer. Offensively, Miami has picked up underrated tight end Jonnu Smith. Not too shabby with very little cap room to work with.
The focus now turns to finding more pass-catchers and depth at wide receiver for quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. That could very well be coming here soon.

Miami Dolphins interested in Pro Bowl wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.
Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reported Wednesday evening that the Dolphins are interested in bringing OBJ into the mix to team up with star receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.
The 31-year-old Beckham Jr. was pretty much let out of his contract with the Baltimore Ravens after just one season. The three-time Pro Bowler recorded 35 receptions for 565 yards and three touchdowns. It was his first season back since suffering a torn ACL as a member of the Los Angeles Rams during the 2021 season.
Sure, Beckham Jr. is not the same player he used to be earlier in his career with the New York Giants and Cleveland Browns. But he can still be productive.
Miami needs depth at wide receiver behind Hill and Waddle. Its third-leading returning pass-catcher from the wide receiver position is Braxton Berrios (27 catches).
