It’s no secret that the Miami Marlins are starving for fan support right now, and that the organization has nobody to blame but itself. In fact, no team that has hosted a series so far has come close to Miami in terms of pathetic attendance — the Marlins are last in MLB with an average of 15,829 fans per home game.

And the numbers have actually gotten worse of late.

Desperate to put butts in seats, the Marlins have launched a promotion that celebrates the Jewish holiday Passover. They’re hosting a pregame concert and will feature a Kosher pregame menu.

Whether this actually brings more fans to the ballpark remains to be seen, but we can’t say the Marlins aren’t at least trying to fill their home stadium. Based on how fans have reacted to things so far, we’re not convinced it’ll work.
