The Boston Red Sox will be hosting the Texas Rangers at Fenway Park Wednesday afternoon. In no way is that anywhere near the biggest sporting event in Beantown.
Fresh off a blowout Game 6 win over the Blues in St. Louis, the Boston Bruins are just one win away from their second NHL title since 1972. They’ll take on St. Louis in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals Wednesday evening.
Needless to say, everyone is Boston is excited about this franchise-altering game. That includes the Red Sox. They are already out there throwing support behind the Bruins hours before the do-or-die game.
If the Bruins are able to come out on top, they’d be giving Boston its third major sports title of the past calendar year.
The Red Sox won the World Series over the Los Angeles Dodgers in late October while the Patriots followed suit a few months later with a win over the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII.
