Whatever animosity existed between Kevin Durant and Draymond Green earlier in the season seems to be a thing of the past.

The two continue to connect on highlight-reel plays as the regular year comes to a conclusion. The Memphis Grizzlies found this out the hard way at home Wednesday night.

Leading by four points late in the second quarter, Green inbounded the ball from under his own rim and threw a touchdown pass to Durant on the other side of the court.

The end result was pretty much the longest connection on a lay-up you will ever see on an NBA court as the second quarter expired.

Known as one of the best passing big men in the game, this type of assist from Green isn’t an exception to the rule. KD’s block out prior to laying it in reminded us of a big-bodied wide receiver.

Maybe he can join LeBron James in suiting up in the NFL after his career in the Association comes to a conclusion.
