News broke early Tuesday morning that Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Robinson intended on signing a three-year, $42 million contract with the Chicago Bears.
And while a contract can’t be made official until Wednesday, Robinson himself all but confirmed he’s headed to the Bears.

Well, that’s one way to do it.
ESPN’s Josina Anderson was the first to report the terms of the contract.

The $14 million annually will match Demaryius Thomas and Dez Bryant for the eighth highest among NFL wide receivers. Robinson, a former second-round pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars, is coming off a 2017 campaign that saw him miss all but one game with a torn ACL.
In his previous two seasons, the Penn State product combined for 153 receptions for 2,283 yards and 20 touchdowns. He’ll now take over as Mitchell Trubisky’s No. 1 target and join fellow free agent Trey Burton in Chicago’s offense moving forward.
