The Boston Celtics will look to close out their first-round NBA Playoff series Wednesday against the Miami Heat.

Boston boasts a 3-1 series lead and is in the driver’s seat to advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like Kristap Porzingis will be available any time soon. Boston has already ruled the big man out for Game 5 on Wednesday.

We’re hearing more on Porzingis’ status moving forward after he left Monday’s win over Miami in the second quarter.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Porzingis is expected to miss “a minimum of several games” with a right calf injury. The report indicates that he’s dealing with a right soleus strain.

In his first season as a member of the Celtics after being acquired from the Washington Wizards last summer, Porzingis has played a major role in their domination. He was one of three players on the Celtics to average 20 points per game during the regular season, joining Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.

With Porzingis sidelined in Game 4 on Monday, veteran Al Horford took on a larger role. He played nearly 34 minutes. We’re also going to see more of Luke Kornet moving forward.
