The Los Angeles Lakers might not be out of the Kawhi Leonard sweepstakes, after all.

Despite many reports that the Lakers are on the outside looking in, Leonard will reportedly come to Los Angeles for a free-agency meeting.

We’ve known that the Lakers wanted to bring Kawhi Leonard on board to join LeBron James for quite some time. Now, they’ll have a chance to sell him on the opportunity to join one of the Association’s most storied franchises.

The Lakers are also reportedly going to be going after a top free agent point guard, with Kemba Walker being mentioned most often as the player they’d like to land. Though, former Lakers guard D’Angelo Russell is also another intriguing option.

With Anthony Davis on board already, it’s clear that the Lakers are attempting a quick fix to get right back into the business of contending for championships.
