NFL Week 4 brought another Las Vegas Raiders loss and another top star on offense who is growing frustrated with the team’s sloppy play.

After barely eking out a Week 1 victory over the lowly Denver Broncos, the Las Vegas Raiders have stumbled through every game since and now head into Week 5 with a 1-3 record. Making matters worse, is that poor decisions by the staff, and consistent miscues by the roster have furthered a growing frustration in the locker room that began last season.

Superstar wide receiver has not been subtle about his exasperation with the team’s play so far this season, and now he is not the only prominent player who is getting tired of the performance of his teammates in 2023. While he was held in check on the ground, Josh Jacobs still had a strong showing on Sunday as he posted 139 total yards, eight catches, and a touchdown in the team’s latest loss.

His feeling that he is giving a max and disciplined effort while his teammates may not be is starting to get to the 2022 Pro Bowler, and he let it be known after the game.

“It’s undisciplined football, and this league is too competitive,” Jacobs said after their 24-17 defeat to the Los Angeles Chargers. “It’s too competitive and it’s too many guys that’s good out there to not do the little things right every play. Until we figure that out, this is going to be what it is. It’s frustrating, man. And I mean, I feel like every day I go in there and work my [expletive] off. So, eventually, something’s got to give.”

This is just the latest cry of annoyance from the veterans on the Raiders roster who continued to grow tired of the coaching style of head coach Josh McDaniels, who moved to 7-13 leading the franchise and 18-30 overall as a head coach during his career.

With starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo out with a concussion, rookie Aidan O’Connell was given the start over veteran backup Brian Hoyer.
