The NFL’s scouting process for top prospects can be intense with analysts, fans and teams nitpicking every little detail of a player. After measuring in with small hands at the NFL Scouting Combine, former LSU Tigers quarterback Joe Burrow trolled everyone with the perfect tweet.

Burrow showed up to the NFL Scouting Combine to get his measurements and meet with NFL teams. When everyone learned he has nine-inch hands, which is small for an NFL quarterback, it became the NFL’s talking point of the day. Fortunately, Burrow took the little jabs in stride and responded with an epic tweet that jokingly suggested he might retire because of his “tiny hands” and asked fans for their thoughts during this time.

Burrow is certainly an outstanding quarterback, who the Cincinnati Bengals plan to draft with the No. 1 overall pick, but his personality might be even better. He’s confident in his abilities, knows how to have fun off the field and brings a personality that fans and teammates love.

Besides, a certain Super Bowl MVP heard criticism from the league over his small hands coming out of the scouting process and he reminded everyone about it, too.

If an NFL team wants to pass on Burrow because of his hand size, they have every right. But Patrick Mahomes had no problem lifting the Lombardi Trophy after Super Bowl LIV and we don’t think Burrow would have any problems doing it either.
