Jarvis Landry hasn’t given up on the dream of reuniting with his old college teammate, Odell Beckham Jr., whom he believes would not hesitate to join him in Cleveland.
Back at the start of the year when OBJ’s contract situation with the New York Giants was at its stickiest, Landry made it clear he wanted the Browns to reel in Beckham.
Now that some time has passed, another report has emerged that indicate the Giants might not be interested in paying Beckham what he believes he’s worth.
[2/2] My understanding is that the Giants are currently valuing Odell Beckham at a total average per year below Sammy Watkins. #ContractTalks

No doubt, this is a frustrating development for OBJ. That said, Landry was quick to point out on Monday that the Browns should make a trade for him.
“He would be up for it,” Landry said, per Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.
The Browns did just clear up some space in the receivers room by trading former first-round pick Corey Coleman to the Buffalo Bills. However, it seems awfully far-fetched that they’d be willing to dole out the kind of draft capital it could inevitably take to trade for Beckham.
For what it’s worth, Beckham himself recently made it clear that he believes his contract situation with the Giants will work itself out.
