The Indianapolis Colts have a penchant for finding unheralded gems from small schools in the NFL Draft. As the 2024 NFL Draft draws closer, there’s a new small-school talent who seems to be squarely on the Colts’ radar during the pre-draft cycle.
In recent years, Indianapolis has had plenty of success hitting on players coming out of Group of Five or FCS schools. Shaquille Leonard is the most prominent success story, but former Massachusetts defensive back Isaiah Rodgers and Tarleton State linebacker E.J. Speed are other success stories.

While high-profile players and All-Americans from Power 5 schools are generating most of the attention ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft, there is one small-school player who is reportedly viewed quite favorably by Indianapolis.
According to Tony Pauline of Sportskeeda, the Colts and Dallas Cowboys are among several NFL teams “hot on” Georgia State offensive tackle Travis Glover ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Who is Travis Glover?
Travis Glover, a 6-foot-6 offensive tackle, didn’t receive an invite to the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. However, the standout offensive lineman is firmly on the radar of teams ahead of the NFL Draft, including the Colts.

Glover quickly made an impression at Georgia State, earning FWAA Shaun Alexander Freshman All-America honors in 2019 and then being named to the athletic director’s honor roll in the spring of 2020. This past season, the redshirt senior was named to the first-team All-Sun Belt Conference.
He provides a lot of traits that teams are looking for in an offensive tackle. Beyond his huge frame and wingspan, with 34.5-inch arms, Glover is also very experienced as a five-year starter at Georgia State. Notably, per Tony Pauline, he’s already scheduled 11 top-30 pre-draft visits with teams.
Glover also fared pretty well in pass protection this past season. According to Pro Football Focus, he allowed just 5 hurries and 3 QB hits across 390 pass-blocking snaps, earning an 80.7 PFF pass-blocking grade. He’s demonstrated the ability to play multiple spots along the offensive line and even held up well in matchups against LSU and North Carolina. After a solid showing at the Senior Bowl, Glover is a name to watch in the 2024 NFL Draft as an unheralded prospect who could become a long-term starter.
