NFL TV ratings continue to soar this season as ESPN announced that its game Monday night between the Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers drew an average audience of 28.6 million viewers.

It was the second-largest audience ever for an NFL playoff game on ESPN.

The audience peaked at 32.6 million viewers just before halftime. The Peyton and Eli broadcast on ESPN2 got more than one million viewers.

The only game to rank higher for ESPN was last year’s playoff game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Buccaneers in Tom Brady’s final game. The network got more than 31 million viewers for that game.
