Prices for Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Lakers tickets to their semifinals playoff series are reportedly some of the highest on record.

The Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers are two of the most popular brands in the NBA today. LA is one of the winningest franchises in league history and is a dark horse title contender this year with NBA icon Lebron James and Anthony Davis leading the way. While the Warriors are the sport’s current dynasty team and have a trio of future Hall-of-Famers, including Stephen Curry.

Tickets to their games are some of the most expensive in the NBA for obvious reasons. However, it seems when you put the two together with a chance to go to the Western Conference Finals on the line, the prices for seats have gone to some never before seen levels.

Los Angeles Lakers vs. Sacramento Kings average price: $668

According to ticket marketplace TickPick (via Front Office Sports), the average cost of a ticket to see any of the possible seven games between the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers is $726. The cheapest average price to see games at either the Crypto.com Arena or Chase Center is $446.

TickPick claims that after beating the Memphis Grizzlies and advancing to the second round of the 2023 NBA Playoffs, the average price for semifinal games at Crypto.com was $298. However, they jumped 51% to $451 when it became official that Stephen Curry and the defending champion Warriors would be their opponent.

These rates for this year’s postseason matchups between the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers are the most expensive ever for an NBA game outside prices for seats to the league’s championship series.

Game 2 between the Lakers and Warriors takes place on Thursday at 9 PM ET on ESPN.
