Seattle Seahawks pass rusher Frank Clark entered the NFL with some serious red flags. On Thursday, the violent tendencies that scared off some teams came out into the light when Clark dropped offensive lineman Germain Ifedi with his right hand.

According to media members who witnessed the attack, Ifedi was leveled by the blow and had to be immediately looked at by trainers.

Ifedi had his helmet off when Clark attacked him.

According to Sheil Kapadia of ESPN, the fight started when Luke Joeckel grabbed Clark’s leg from below.

No doubt, the Seahawks will play this off as just boys being boys, and tempers running hot. Given Clark’s history, however, there’s another layer that’s worth keeping an eye on going forward.
