Anaheim Ducks forward Alex Killorn will be sidelined four to six weeks due to a fractured finger, the team announced Saturday.

Killorn, 34, sustained the injury during Anaheim’s 4-2 preseason victory over the San Jose Sharks on Wednesday.

He signed a four-year, $25 million contract with the Ducks on July 1 after spending his first 11 NHL seasons with the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Killorn recorded career-high totals in goals (27), assists (37) and points (64) while playing in all 82 games last season with the Lightning.

A two-time Stanley Cup champion with Tampa Bay, Killorn has 466 points (198 goals, 268 assists) in 805 career games since being selected by the Lightning in the third round of the 2007 NHL Draft.
