Denver Broncos player arrested, facing felony gun charge

Denver Broncos cornerback Faion Hicks was arrested in Hallendale, Florida, on Saturday. A seventh-round pick of the Broncos in the 2022 NFL Draft, Hicks is facing three charges.

According to Mike Klis of 9 News in Denver, the most serious of those charges is the carrying of a concealed firearm, which is a third-degree felony.

“Hicks appeared to be pulled over by police after he ‘disobeyed a stop sign.’ Besides the traffic violation and concealed firearm charge, Hicks was cited for having an expired driver’s license of less than four months, according to court records.”

There’s no further information on the arrest outside of the fact that Hicks did make bond and is out of jail at the time of this writing.
