Dave Roberts keeping Dodgers’ NLDS rotation under wraps

Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Dodgers do not want to divulge who will be starting in the National League Divisional Series against a yet-to-be named opponent.

Manager Dave Roberts was asked about his potential lineup to start the first three games. He’s not about to give an answer.

Roberts indicates that the three starters know what game they’ll take to the bump.

It’s obviously going to be Clayton Kershaw, Hyun-Jin Ryu and Walker Buehler in some order.

Common logic seems to suggest that Kershaw and his extensive resume will start Game 1 Thursday evening in Los Angeles.

However, he’s had notable postseason struggles. Meanwhile, Ryu just finished up a Cy Young-caliber regular year.

No matter what the order is, Los Angeles will find itself in a great spot once the NLDS opens. Expect a starter to be named Wednesday afternoon.
